Patterns of Humanity and Civilization is a short 8-page booklet, specifically exploring the forms and patterns of the world's cities when seen at night from space. Layout design and flow was the main focus of this project, and a grid system was created for the layout of the entire book. Typographical and visual elements such as page numbers, captions, photographs, and body text are organized to create dimension on the page while still being hierarchically relevant.
